Chinese Imperial purple Peking glass charger, Qianlong 4 character mark and period, diameter 43cm, chipped and cracked, purchased by the present vendor's grandmother at auction in 1902 where other items from the Peking Summer Palace were also sold
There is a chip in the rim and a spiral-shaped crack running from the chip around to the base, sold with a copy of the 1902 catalogue page showing other items from the Peking Summer Palace
