Alice's Adventures In Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, First Edition Macmillan & Co London 1866, cloth-bound, together with handwritten document found with the book, Log of the Tortoise dated 1862
Book is in poor condition with pages loose, coverboards stained, spine dented plus some torn and stained pages, handwritten document is generally discoloured but interesting and unsure if there is any connection with the book. Binding is slightly loose and beginning to tear on inside of covers, top edges of both covers appear to be water damaged with general wear and tear to corners and edges, no missing pages, runs complete through to page 192, all pages have small water stains in top corners, a few pages are loose, generally quite worn with a few small tears, folded corners, light foxing marks etc, all commensurate with age and use, inside front cover has presentation inscription dated 1866
