An Antique Georgian Emerald and Diamond Ring,
circa 1820, set with five graduated octagonal step cut emeralds and round old cut diamonds, in openwork setting with fleur-de-lis shoulders and closed back, unmarked mount tests as 18ct yellow gold, size M, 2g
The emeralds are a medium green with minor internal inclusions only visible through a loupe. The diamonds are relatively bright and lively. The mount has light surface wear mainly to the back of the shank where there is a small join mark. Overall very good condition.
