A Victorian amethyst Riviere necklace, the graduated oval amethysts set in unmarked gold cut-down collets, amethyst lengths ranging from 16.7 - 19.1mm, necklace length 42cm, 64.5g
No damage, all stones present, amethysts vary very slightly in colour saturation, a few have lightly abraded and rubbed facet edges, mainly the pavilion facets, no broken links, clasp is slightly loose but still working, the barrel catch is starting to lift away from the collet surround which is making the catch loose, would benefit from re-soldering, unmarked
