A George III silver christening tankard mug, baluster form with scrolled acanthus leaf handle, indistinct maker's marks WD?, hallmarks London 1775, height 9cm, 6.2oz
Excellent original condition, no obvious damage, top of handle has some solder evident, lightly abraded all over with a few minor dents to the body, hallmarks clear. The tankard holds approx 250ml or just under half a pint.
