An Antique ruby and diamond cluster ring, set with oval mixed-cut ruby surrounded by Dutch rose-cut diamonds, apparently unmarked, tests as 9ct gold and silver, setting height 8.6mm, size M, 2.5g
Ring has been re-purposed from another piece of jewellery with a later added shank, ruby has light facet edge abrasions, a few of the diamonds have edge chips and mostly all are slightly brown from tarnished foil backings, general wear to high points of settings, unmarked
