An Antique pink pearl and diamond target cluster bar brooch, set with 7.3mm pink button pearl, surrounded by 2 graduated rows of old European-cut diamonds, total diamond content approx 2.75ct, mounted in silver-topped 9ct gold, cluster diameter 21.2mm, brooch 54.4mm, 6.5g
Brooch fitting is likely a later addition and there is evidence of an old screw fitting on backing which the fitting is no longer present, all stones present, pearl has a strong and uniform pink body colour with greenish overtones, the shape is quite even with only a few tiny surface blemishes/bobbles around edge, diamonds are very bright and lively, some having a slight yellow tint and most have small internal black spot inclusions visible through a loupe, backing frame of cluster has a small split but is still stable, bar fitting slightly bent upwards on 1 side but still working, fitting stamped 9ct
