An Asprey and S Mordan & Company Victorian coromandel and brass-bound travelling vanity box, fitted interior and drawer to the base, no key, W30cm
Good overall condition, a little bit of the brass inlay is lifting in places, general splitting consistent with age and use, surface wear and scratches, interior is fitted with a lift-out tray, various glass scent bottles, rouge pots etc, bone-handled tools, the blue velvet interior to the lid falls forward to reveal a fitted mirror and a blue silk lined drawer, the lock engraved S Mordan & Company and an embossed gilded oval label for Asprey
The lids to all the glass bottles and boxes are missing, the two larger bottles are chipped along the top edge, as is the two rectangular glass boxes
