An Art Nouveau opal and diamond openwork pendant/brooch, circa 1905, centrally claw set with 4.25ct oval cabochon opal, within rose-cut diamond foliate openwork surround, with removeable brooch fitting and swivel pendant loop, apparently unmarked, opal measures approx: 16.10 x 11.77 x 4.80mm, brooch 32.7mm, 6.8g

All stone present, opal has an extremely good and bright play of colour with mostly greens and blues along with some oranges around edges, opal has several internal fractures which are visible without a loupe and 1 small edge chip beneath a centre claw otherwise no damage, brooch fitting working, unmarked
